You will travel back in ancient times walking among the Propylaea, the Temple of Athens Nike, the unique Parthenon & the Erechteion. From the top you will have a panoramic view of the ancient theater of Dionisos & of the Herodion (Odeion of Herodes Atticus). You will also discover the Areopagus (Mar’s Hill) from where St. Paul preached to the Athenians.

Your next visit will be to the Ancient Agora where St. Paul met the Athenians philosophers & exchanged thoughts & ideas regarding the new religion. Our private tour continues with the visits to Olympieio (with the Temple of Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch) and to the famous Panathenaic Stadium (also known as Kallimarmaron) where the first modern Olympic Games were revived on 1896. Next stop is the Presidential Mansion (ex-Royal Palace) where you will monitor the traditional Change of the Guard.

Our car will then climb you to St. George Lycabetus Hill with the best panoramic view of Athens (ideal place for taking photos). Your next visit will be to the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, the largest museum in Greece, which is housed in an impressive neoclassical building designed by L. Lange at the end of 19th century. You will admire thousands of finds which present the passing of the Greek civilization from the Prehistory to the Late Antiquity, while visiting the five permanent exhibitions, such as the Prehistoric Collection, the Sculptures Collection, the Vase & Minor Objects Collection which includes the Stathatos Collection, the Bronze Collection (which includes the famous Antikythera Mechanism) & finally the Egyptian & Near Eastern Antiquities Collection.

While continuing our private touring, you will pass and see important buildings & places such as the National Library, the Academy, the Univercity, the Old Greek Parliament, the Catholic Cathedral (Church of Dionysios Areopagitis or St. Denis) and the Syntagma Square (Parliament building & Tomb of Unknown Soldier). We shall then reach to the famous Plaka, where you will be lost in the narrow streets where the spirit of old Athens exists.
