Further Information / Detailed Tour Description

Our private tour starts with driving via the coastal highway towards Peloponnese. Our first stop/visit (ideal for taking photos) is the famous Corinth Canal which, through Isthmus, connects the Corinthian Gulf (Ionian Sea) with Saronic Gulf (Aegean Sea) & cuts Peloponnese peninsula from the rest Greek mainland.

We continue our private tour with our main destination which is the Ancient Corinthos. Exploring the archaeological area you will meet the main attraction of the area the Temple of Apollo (built on a rocky hill), the Theatre, the Roman Odeon & the Glauke fountain into a natural rock. Besides them there is the famous "Vema" (tribunal) from where St. Paul preached the Corinthians. Finally your knowledge will be complemented in the Archaeological Museum.

Our last visit is the Acrocorinthos (the Acropolis), a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient Corinthos. You will find ruins of the Temple of Aphrodite, of the Ano Peirene Spring & of many churches. Our private tour ends with the driving back to our starting point in Athens.
