Important Information
Our driver will meet you at pre-defined point (i.e. hotel lobby, outside of the building of your building of your apartment, at Piraeus Port, at Athens Airport or else) 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up time.
Due to the reason that Meteora rocks have been declared by the Greek State as a Holy Place, the dressing for entering into the monasteries has to be appropriate. At the entrance of the monasteries, clothing is provided only to women. Men are not allowed to enter if they are wearing shorts above the knee or sleeveless shirts.

First Day : Our private 5 days tour starts with driving towards Viotia Prefecture. Passing outside the capital of Viotia prefecture, Livadia, we arrive for a short stop/visit to the traditional village of Arachova, which is located at the foot of mount Parnassus.
We then reach to "the center of the world" – as it was regarded by the ancients – the famous Sanctuary of Delphi with the worldwide known Oracle. You will wander through the archaeological area admiring the Temple of Apollo, theTreasury of the Athenians, thePolygonal wall, the Treasury of the Siphnians, theStoa of the Athenians, the ancient theater, the Sacred Way, the ancient Gymnasium, the Castalian Spring, the ancient Stadium & the Tholos of Athena Pronaia. Time for a traditional Greek lunch in the town of Delphi & your knowledge will be complemented with the visit to the archaeological museum, where you will follow the history of the most famous ancient oracle & you will admire sculpture, statues & minor objects donated to the sanctuary. We continue our tour with driving towards central Greece and in the evening we arrive in Kalampaka which is located just in the shadow of Meteora Rocks (also known as "The Rocks of the God"). Time for dinner and then you will spend your night in a charm hotel in the area.
Second Day : In the morning and after having your breakfast, we shall "climp" to the imposing rock towers of Meteora with the unique phenomenon to have on their top Orthodox monasteries built since middle ages. The whole complex of the rocks with the monasteries has been listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. You shall have the opportunity to visit & admire some the most important monasteries such as the Monastery of Great Meteoron, the Monastery of Rousanou, the Monastery of Agia Triada (Holy Triniti), the Varlaam Monastery, the Monastery of Saint Nikolaos Anapafsa & the Monastery of Saint Stephanos. After having lunch we start driving towards north-west Greece and we reach to the famous Metsovo, a Greek authentic traditional village. You will admire the marvelous stone & wood traditional houses. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Averoff Gallery with more than 200 works by 19th & 20th century famous Greek artists. Time for dinner and then you will spend your night in a charm hotel in the area.
Third Day : In the morning and after having your breakfast, we shall start driving through a fantastic route with a rare natural environment to Zagorochoria. We shall pass via small picturesque villages next to the famous Gorge of Vikos and we shall finally reach one of the most famous traditional villages, Papigo where you will enjoy a traditional Greek lunch. Our tour continues with driving towards to the city of Ioannina. Just before we enter to the city, we shall stop to Perama village and you will have the opportunity to visit the Cave of Perama, which is located bellow the ground. You will see fossils and remains from the prehistoric Era, impressive murals and remarkable arrangements of stalagmites and stalactites. We shall then reach to Ioannina. You will have the free time to walk around, you will enjoy your dinner while attending the famous Pamvotida lake and then you will spend your night in a charm hotel in the area.
Fourth Day : In the morning and after having your breakfast, you will explore the beauties of Ioannina such as the Ali Pasha’s Museum (which is located in a very small island in the lake) and the Paul Vrellis Greek History Museum. Our tour continues with driving towards the city of Preveza. We shall have a stop to the Springs of Acheron river. In ancient times, Acheron river was believed to be the river whose passage was made, according to ancient Greek mythology, by the Hermes, who handed over the souls of the deads to Charon to end up in the kingdom of Hades. We reach to the city of Preveza and after having dinner, you will spend your night in a charm hotel in the area.
Fifth Day : In the morning and after having your breakfast, you will visit the famous Nekromanteion (or oracle of the dead) which is located on the flattened top of the hill. In accordance to mythology the people were going to the Nekromanteio wishing to meet the souls of the dead, as these were able to foresee the future after having left their body. We continue with a long drive back towards Athens. We shall pass via the famous Rio-Antirio Bridge and we shall have a stop/visit to the famous Corinth Canal which, through Isthmus, connects the Corinthian Gulf with Saronic Gulf and cuts Peloponnese peninsula from the rest Greek mainland. Our five days adventure reaches to the end with our returning back to starting point.
