Acropolis Museum

Our private tour starts with the visit of the naturally fortified hill of the Acropolis, the cornerstone of Athens existence. You will travel back in ancient times walking among the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the unique Parthenon & the Erechteion. From the top you will have a panoramic view of the ancient theater of Dionisos & the Herodion (Odeion of Herodes Atticus). Our private tour continues with the visit of the Temple of Zeus & of the Hadrian’s Arch along with the famous Panathenaic Stadium (also known as Kallimarmaron), where the first modern Olympic Games were revived on 1896.

Next stop is the Presidential Mansion (ex-Royal Palace) where you will monitor the traditional Change of the Guard. Our car will then climb you to St. George Lycabetus Hill with the best panoramic view of Athens (ideal place for taking photos). While on route of our private tour, you will see important buildings & places such as the National Library, the Academy, the Univercity, the Old Greek Parliament & the Syntagma Square (Parliament building & Tomb of Unknown Soldier). Our next visit is the Hellenic Agora (Aeropagus), the Roman Agora & we finally reach the famous Plaka where you will be lost in narrow streets where the spirit of old Athens exists.

We continue our private tour with the visit of the Acropolis Museum, one of the most important museum in the world. You will admire unique findings of the archaeological area of the Acropolis of Athens while visiting the permanent exhibitions such as the Gallery of the Slopes of the Acropolis, the Archaeic Gallery, the Parthenon Gallery & the Gallery of Classical Acropolis with finds from the Propylaia, from the Temple of Athena Nike & from the Erectheion.
